Research & Evaluation is our laboratory for turning lived experience, policy shifts, and neighborhood data into clear evidence that can withstand public scrutiny. We work with agencies, nonprofits, researchers, and developers to answer a core question: is this work changing conditions on the ground, and for whom?

Our Community Data Analytics practice combines spatial data, resident narratives, and administrative records to reveal where investments are landing-and where harms persist. Equity Impact Assessments probe proposed plans and projects for distributional impacts on marginalized communities, offering alternatives that reduce risk of displacement, over-policing, or environmental burden.

We conduct environmental justice analysis, housing and community research, program evaluation, and community needs assessments so partners can target resources, refine strategies, and demonstrate measurable outcomes. Every study is built for real-world use: grant applications, policy debates, board decisions, and community meetings where clarity and transparency matter most.
